2019 EVALI Outbreak & Updates
3WIN Corp and CCELL® are committed to protecting the health of consumers. The Centers for Disease Control reported the first cases of E-cigarette, or Vaping Product, Use Associated Lung Injury (EVALI) in 2019. The CDC has evidence that suggests there is a correlation between exposure to vitamin E acetate and EVALI. Contract tracers were able to link most of the outbreak cases to prefilled THC-containing cartridges. These products are typically purchased through illicit sources like unlicensed retailers or dealers.
Since these illegally-produced products don’t face the same regulations as licensed companies, like CCELL®, there is a great risk for contamination and exposure to toxic chemicals. 3WIN Corp and CCELL® are the industry standard for safe and effective vape hardware and accessories. As such, vitamin E acetate and other potentially harmful chemicals are not used to produce vaping products.
